Career
Gayath Jayasinghe completed his primary education at St. Josephs boys’ college and represented the Sri Lanka schools National basketball team in 1992, he moved to St. Peters College for his secondary education. There he received the Sri Lanka school colors 1993 for basketball in 1994. As a colors holder for school, he has represented the college athletics team and won district records.
Double Blessing (PVT) LTD supplied their services in diversified technical fields and ensured the supplying of services in marketing and event management to its clients.
Gayath stepped into the Irrigation sector with GAJA Irrigation and created a massive impact on the Sri Lankan context for reservoir dredging and sea sand dredging. The company owns suction dredgers and other heavy machinery for work execution.
With experience in marketing and Engineering Gayath stepped into Television broadcasting by opening GAJA TV which has become the number-one sports channel in Sri Lanka.

After completing his education at St. Peters College, he joined as an intern for after-sales Engineering at DAX Engineering and continued there for 5 years later joined his father’s company to handle the administrative role. With the blessings of his father, he started his own company Double Blessing (PVT) LTD partnering with a Malaysian investor, who was an advisor to the former president of Malaysia.
Later he expanded the business of the company together with the Malaysian investor in Irrigation, Construction, Interior Design, Dredging, and Television Broadcasting.
As he stepped into the construction industry with GJ Corporation (PVT) LTD, he involved with low-income housing development projects and rural area road development projects
The intention of Gayath Jayasinghe is to build a healthy younger generation who are occupied with skills and talents to become entrepreneurs.
